14 Outlet Online Stores

THANK YOU Buzzfeed for sharing! I personally love shopping in person and busy outlet malls are one of the only times in life I can muster enough patience to make it through crowds and crying children. I even deep breathed my way through I child climbing all over me while I was trying on a pair of shoes and she was simply trying to get her left shoe on her right foot… But if you can’t goozefrabba or you’re already cursing that there is no parking than you are in luck as many outlets now have online stores! (Yes you heard right)

Here’s a quick review;

JCREW
– 9.95 flat shipping to Canada
– deals are okay, I’ve found better in store. Specifically the below pants I paid 24.99 for…

SAKS
– Decent deals… On shoes at least 50%+ off
– Looks like they only ship to US, time to set up a box down there!

TOMMY H
… Is $10 off really a deal?
– mobile site also isn’t that great, not clear if they ship to Canada or not

ZAPPOS
– Up to 70% off… Excuse me while I go shop, so far this looks promising
– Wait, only shop if you have a US shipping address, no shipping to Canada

NEIMANS

– You can’t buy online and ship to Canada but they give you the option to call and place your order 1.972.556.6011
– Decent deals
– $10 online coupon if you sign up for emails

NET-A-PORTER
– Ships to Canada
– Some good deals if your the type of person who wants to pay $400 as a sale price

BEBE
– Basic CAN delivery is $10
– They got some pretty cheap stuff!

COACH
– Make sure to check the measurements… Things are often smaller than they appear
– Duties are for some reason more expensive than other retailers…
– Don’t even bother to return things unless you want to take from your retirement funds…

And there are more but I’ll let you explore now.

Happy Shopping!

Is COACH outdone? (rhetorical Q)

Coach has recently become some sort of a pet peeve for me in recent years. Don’t get me wrong I remember the first glorious time I shopped at Coach and spent $800 + bucks on a bag, a fanny and even branded beach towels… Branded towels, please tell me what I was thinking? I felt on top of the world, I was “the shit.” However now fakes are popping up like roaches in NY city and there are scary combinations of Coach, Louis and Gucci together. In addition to that there is eBay, Kijiji and the good old factory outlets. It’s great that it’s now an attainable brand but it’s lost some it’s lustre and uniqueness – will it ever go back to its roots of quality branded leather gear?

Buzzfeed sums up the hit the Coach factory outlets have had… It’s a pretty good article

Some fun pictures of some startling fakes (and this is JUST what I’ve found on the internet, real life finds have been more comical)

And I’ll wrap up with this – there is nothing wrong if you like, or wear Coach. I’ll admit that they still have some designs I come across that I love and it appears they’re slowly on route to moving away from the in your face C’s to some classic designs. My thing is uniqueness, for the same reason I like Winners, I can look down the subway car and know I’m not going to see 6 other bags like mine (real or fake). There is something nice about having something that is more so one of a kind.

Watch okay MK and Kate Spade, will this be your fate too?

Until next time, happy shopping!
